Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional care in our facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of nursing home operations, Medicare regulations, and HIPAA compliance. This leadership role requires strong supervisory skills and the ability to manage care plans effectively while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of nursing services within the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure quality patient care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents in accordance with their needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
- Manage staffing schedules and shift assignments to maintain adequate coverage and support for all shifts.
- Ensure adherence to Medicare guidelines and HIPAA regulations in all aspects of nursing practice.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident health status and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional development and adherence to best practices.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a nursing home or assisted living setting.
- Proven experience in nurse management or supervisory roles within healthcare facilities.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, care plans, Medicare regulations, and HIPAA compliance.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on collaboration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and prioritizing tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
