Key Responsibilities
- Act as a consistent point of contact for patients, guiding them through their therapy journey.
- Provide education on prescribed therapies, including potential benefits and side effects based on manufacturer information.
- Assist patients with proper medication administration and dosing guidance.
- Help patients comprehend their insurance benefits and out-of-pocket costs, as well as available financial assistance resources.
- Offer emotional support to patients, aiding in the management of stress related to their diagnosis.
- Connect patients with additional support programs for various non-program needs, such as social interventions.
- Report any adverse events or product complaints following established protocols.
- Perform other tasks as assigned to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Skills
- Proven clinical nursing experience with a focus on educating and managing patients with new diagnoses or chronic conditions.
- Strong understanding of relevant disease states, including protocol therapy and common prescribing methodologies.
- Competence in computer skills and the ability to adapt to changing work assignments.
- Exceptional service orientation with a commitment to supporting others.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for effective patient interactions.

Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana or Kentucky.
- 2-3 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably with expertise in managing chronic disease states.
- Experience in nursing triage, utilization management, or case management is advantageous.
- Background as a case management or clinical trial nurse is a plus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.
