As we continue to grow, Greenwood Pediatrics is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate nurses and medical assistants to be a part of our team of 10 physicians and 15 advanced practice providers.
This opportunity is full-time (5 days per week, plus occasional Saturdays).

DUTIES
· Assist patient to exam room and perform vitals, preliminary health any required testing/screening
· Efficiently maintain patient flow in accordance with provider’s schedule and time demands
· Manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Efficiently manage task lists in EHR by reviewing, following up, and completing assigned tasks
· Assist providers when appropriate during treatment, examination, and testing of patients
· Accurately and efficiently chart patient information in EHR per documentation guidelines
· Provide comprehensive, age-appropriate care to patients
· Collaborate with providers, nursing and front office staff to promote a cohesive team environment
· Provide phone triage service to parents using protocol-based process
· Promote healthy practices and disease prevention
· Seek supervision and consultation when needed
· Act as an advocate for patients and family
· Complete pharmacy refills and clinical forms
· Arrange for outside lab work, testing, radiology, hospital admissions, and referrals
· Follow up regarding labs, test results, and other required patient/parent communication
· Complete all EHR orders and nurse end of day check list
· Stock exam rooms and nursing areas with necessary supplies and materials
· Maintain professional knowledge and clinical skills & participate in committees as requested
· Maintain patient confidentiality
· Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· RN or LPN, licensure in state of Colorado required
· Two or more years’ experience preferred
· BLS for healthcare providers/CPR certification required
· Pediatric experience preferred
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
· Critical thinking skills and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
· Detail orientation with ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
