Remote & Onsite Type II & III Assessments
CASDAP OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH LIAISON — The Composite Army Safety Development and Assessment Program (CASDAP) is a phased approach to the Safety assessment using both an online/remote and physical site assessment to review and evaluate program metrics IAW Army Safety regulation AR 385-10 and DOD Safety requirements. CASDAP is an essential tool to help ARNG identify gaps in staffing, funding and educational needs across the programs and work with leadership to prioritize and support programs to enhance Safety and Occupational Health programs across the States.
This position will serve as member of the ARNG Safety CASDAP team to review the State OH and IH programs and assess compliance with all DOD Federal and OSHA requirements to ensure workplace health and safety of all ARNG employees.
This position will conduct both remote and offsite assessments, as well as travel with the CASDAP team to multiple, designated States annually to review and assess State Programs for compliance with specified ARNG Occupational Health Program elements. Note, each onsite CASDAP inspection requires a week of travel to accomplish mission requirements.
CASDAP OH representative will coordinate with designated State Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene professional, at minimum 60 days prior to inspection, to review program files and tracking databases to validate required inspection elements. The CASDAP OH team member will provide input to the CASDAP team lead during onsite inspection process and brief OH program findings to senior military leadership at the formal CASDAP out brief to the command. In addition, the CASDAP OH representative will also provide a report, specific to OH and IH findings to the ARNG Chief Occupational Health Nurse within 10 working days following onsite assessment.
Under the guidance and direction of the ARNG Chief Occupational Health Nurse, the CASDAP OH representative may be asked to conduct special studies and projects to help impact and improve OH provision of services, health education and wellness and overall OH military program policy.
CASDAP OH representative will meet with Chief, ARNG OH Consultant at least monthly to review status of State findings and provide reports for ARNG OH Consultant review
The OH representative(s) will be required to possess and maintain professional licensure as a registered nurse and will be able to produce valid licensure upon request.
OH representative must be knowledgeable of all DOD, Army and OSHA policies, regulations and laws governing the field of occupational health. Individual must have previous military or Federal experience in the field of Occupational Health for a minimum of 5 years for this position.
Must have working knowledge and good understanding of MS Office, and all associated office applications.
Must be willing to work adjusted hours to accommodate different times zones for scheduled assessments of ARNG States across the US.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
