Living Hope Hospice is currently seeking Certified Home Health Aides (HHA) for hospice visits in the Southeast Houston areas (Galveston, Santa Fe, Texas City, League City, Pearland, Pasadena, Deer Park, Baytown, Alvin). We are looking for a full / part-time, enthusiastic, and compassionate Home Health Aide to provide comfort and care to hospice patients. You will be an integral part of the team supporting hospice patients who reside in a facility.
The Hospice Aide will provide personal care and assistance to hospice patients as part of the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team. In this role your will follow universal precautions in delivery patient care perform as outlined in the Plan of Care.
Job Qualifications:
- Assist patients with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL's), including eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, brief changes, repositioning, activities, and all personal care and grooming;
- Make beds, change linens and keep patient rooms/areas organized and tidy;
- Ability to show genuine kindness and respect to our patients and always ensure their dignity and privacy;
- Demonstrate proper patient lifting and transferring skills;
- Maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate ability to work well within a team and independently;
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and to demonstrate strong time management skills;
- Ability to take direction from RN Case Managers and Supervisors

Requirement Include:
- Current and valid Texas Certified Home Health Aide Certificate
- One year of experience in Hospice, Home Health, Nursing Home settings
- Current CPR certification
- Valid Texas Drivers License with proof of auto insurance
- Social Security Card and/or proof of eligibility to work in U.S.
