*Nurse Practitioner Job Description* *Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting, focusing on various medical needs including pain management and infection control. This role requires expertise in medical office operations, familiarity with DME (Durable Medical Equipment), and proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth. The Nurse Practitioner will also be involved in esthetic laser treatments and IV infusion therapies, ensuring comprehensive care for our patients. *Responsibilities* - Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. - Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions. - Administer esthetic laser treatments and IV infusions as needed. - Manage pain management protocols for patients with chronic pain conditions. - Ensure compliance with infection control standards within the medical office. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. - Maintain accurate medical records using Athenahealth or similar systems. - Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. *Qualifications* - Master’s degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited program. - Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice. - Experience in a medical office environment is preferred. - Knowledge of DME processes and infection control protocols. - Familiarity with outpatient care settings and patient management systems. - Experience with IV infusion therapies and pain management techniques is a plus. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and staff. - Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
