The Quality Programs Manager plays a vital role in supporting this mission by designing and maintaining enterprise-wide quality programs that uphold the highest standards in every aspect of our operations. This position collaborates with leaders and staff to develop programs that drive excellence, including deviation management, quality risk assessments, regulatory compliance training, and quality software solutions.
By analyzing trends, proposing corrective measures, and leading initiatives that enhance operational excellence, the Quality Programs Manager ensures we deliver on our mission. This role also serves as a trusted resource for quality and regulatory compliance across the organization, fostering continuous improvement at every level.

As a Quality Programs Manager, you'll get to:
- Lead and manage quality procedures and deviation management systems, ensuring consistency and excellence across the enterprise.
- Design, maintain, and enhance quality systems, automated tools, and internal risk assessment programs.
- Analyze compliance risks through internal assessments and external inspection findings, driving improvements.
- Develop and deliver impactful training programs on quality and regulatory compliance for field and operational staff.
- Oversee cross-functional projects, managing planning, team coordination, and resource allocation.
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes, assessing their impact on quality processes and ensuring compliance.
- Play a key role in annual budget planning and resource allocation.
Knowledge/ Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Knowledge of local, state, national, and international regulations as they relate to the blood industry, quality, and manufacturing activities required.
- Knowledge of computer environments, standard development, and system life cycle methodology preferred.
Licenses/ Certifications
- CMQ/OE, CQA, RA, PM and/or Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist or Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) by a recognized certifying agency or RN licensure preferred.
Experience
- Six years of related experience in a regulated industry required. To include:
- Three years of supervisory experience or equivalent (e.g., project lead).
- Four years of experience in quality, regulatory, and/or auditing.
- Previous experience leading and/or supporting multi-disciplinary teams and projects required.

- Must have proficient computer skills.
