We are currently looking for a Director of Nursing for our Operating Room who is an independent decision-maker in a wide variety of situations, self-motivated, and personable.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm, on-call required, as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Management or related field, or equivalent minimum experience is required
- 5+ years of experience in nursing management in a hospital setting
- 3+ years of supervisory experience required
- 1+ years of Operating Room bedside experience is highly preferred
- Current Arizona Registered Nurse License
- For Wound Care: Training in wound care and hyperbaric therapy from a nationally recognized provider is required - WOCN Registered is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Department administrator: Establishes and enforces policies, procedures, standards, and objectives.
- Directs and supervises staff and workflow.
- Accountable for budgeting and fiscal responsibilities
- Responsible for the ongoing effective operation of the assigned nursing department, supporting the hospital’s mission, and focusing on patients, physicians, employees, volunteers, and the community as customers.
- Ongoing accountability for the continuous assessment, improvement, coordination, and integration of the department services and standards of care into the hospital’s primary function.
- Position is responsible for approving timekeeping, employee evaluation, meeting applicable regulatory standards, approving supply orders, and department strategic planning.
