You will be responsible for delivering care to patients with varying medical conditions, ensuring their comfort and safety while adhering to best practices in nursing. *Duties* - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in acute care settings, including triage and IV insertion. - Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with developmental disabilities, dementia, and memory care needs. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring patients for any adverse reactions. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. - Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and post-discharge care. - Assist in procedures related to mammography and dialysis as needed. - Adapt quickly to new environments and protocols while maintaining a high standard of care. *Experience* - Previous experience in acute care nursing is preferred; familiarity with coding is a plus. - Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or require specialized dementia care is advantageous. - Proficiency in IV insertion techniques and other essential nursing skills is required. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for success in this role. - A valid nursing license and relevant certifications are mandatory.
