Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Educator to join our remote pharmaceutical call center team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, offering expert guidance and support related to diabetes. Your responsibilities will include handling inbound and outbound calls and answering emails, providing accurate information, addressing concerns, and educating callers on the proper use and management of the medication.
Must Haves:
- 3+ years of current or previous nursing experience, including dedicated experience in diabetes required.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA / BS) from four-year college or university preferred. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and equivalent experience required.
- Valid and unrestricted RN license (any state) in good standing required.
- Previous clinical education for pharmaceutical company advantageous but not essential
- Call center experience a must.
- Demonstrate effective and professional communication skills with ability to present to various audiences, including patients, care givers, physicians and other members of the office staff.
- Passionate about improving patient outcomes and dedicated to making a difference.
- Highly skilled using phone or other digital channels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrable organizational skills.
- Calm demeanor with the appropriate level of urgency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients and healthcare providers regarding a diabetes drug.
- Provide thorough education on the medication, including usage, benefits, side effects, and proper management.
- Address and resolve inquiries, concerns, and issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions in the call center database.
- Stay updated on the latest information and guidelines related to diabetes and medication.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality support.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.

Salary: Compensation range of $35 - $37.50 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
